Untangling the Spin: Shameless Blame Game! Heritage Action for America

Untangling the Spin: Shameless Blame Game! Heritage Action for America: "Most Americans were not surprised by yesterday’s news that economic growth was slowing. Many Americans would be surprised to know the economy is growing, period. Skyrocketing gas prices, slumping home prices and presidential rhetoric about tax increases make job creation difficult to say the least.

But the big-government propagandists have come out with a new explanation: reduced government spending is to blame. The Washington spin machine knows no bounds"

Update: See Shocking Excerpts From Tucson‘s ’Mexican-American Studies’ Curriculum | The Blaze: "Earlier today we brought you the story of how students chained themselves together at a local Tucson school board chamber to protest administrators who wanted to change the Mexican-American studies curriculum. Currently, a class that teaches history from a Mexican-American perspective is allowed to substitute for the required U.S. history class. But the school superintendent also wants to reevaluate the entire program (and possibly get rid of the class),* in part because it advocates the overthrow of the U.S. government."

IMF bombshell

IMF bombshell: Age of America nears end Brett Arends' ROI - MarketWatch: "BOSTON (MarketWatch) — The International Monetary Fund has just dropped a bombshell, and nobody noticed.

For the first time, the international organization has set a date for the moment when the “Age of America” will end and the U.S. economy will be overtaken by that of China.

And it’s a lot closer than you may think.

According to the latest IMF official forecasts, China’s economy will surpass that of America in real terms in 2016 — just five years from now.

Put that in your calendar."

Weakness in the US dollar, which is causing everything to go up—including gas prices, food and stocks—is unlikely to go away soon as a selling frenzy hits the currency market.

CNBC.com

The greenback is approaching pre-financial crisis lows and threatening to smash through its all-time low when measured against the world's predominant national currencies.
A combination of factors accounts for the weakness, with the Federal Reserve's easy-money policies, huge national debts and deficits and the consequential possibility of a debt downgrade because of the financial mess in Washington leading the way.

Environmentalists Get It Wrong Yet Again!!

According to  http://www.newser.com/

(NEWSER)  Paging Stephen Colbert: There's apparently a new reason to be wary of energy-saving lightbulbs. In a new report, scientists in Germany warn that compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs) emit carcinogenic chemicals and toxins—including phenol, naphthalene, and styrene—when turned on, resulting in what one scientists describes as "electrical smog.

These enviromentalcases need to be stopped.

Here is another story for ya.    http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/asia/article6211261.ece
Large numbers of Chinese workers have been poisoned by mercury, which forms part of the compact fluorescent lightbulbs. A surge in foreign demand, set off by a European Union directive making these bulbs compulsory within three years, has also led to the reopening of mercury mines that have ruined the environment.

It seems to me that it's the environmentalists that are a danger to our health. 2012 will be a very important year.

It's the Constitution stupid

WASHINGTON - APRIL 17: Federal Reserve Chairm...Image by Getty Images via @daylife

Charley Reese's Final Column
Charley Reese is retiring. His last column is this one. I
know many will miss this southern gentleman.. He had a great run and we are all better off for it. Farewell, Mr. Reese, and thank you.
Be sure to read the Tax List at the end.

This is about as clear and easy to understand as it can be - read it!! The article below is completely neutral, not anti republican or democrat. Charlie Reese, a retired reporter for the Orlando Sentinal has hit the nail directly on the head, defining clearly who it is that in the final analysis must assume responsibility for the judgments made that impact each one of us every day. It's a short but good read. Worth the time. Worth remembering!
545 vs. 300,000,000
EVERY CITIZEN NEEDS TO READ THIS AND THINK ABOUT WHAT THIS JOURNALIST HAS SCRIPTED IN THIS MESSAGE. READ IT AND THEN REALLY THINK ABOUT OUR CURRENT POLITICAL DEBACLE.

Description: Newspaper clipping USA, Woodrow W...Image via Wikipedia545 PEOPLE --By Charlie Reese
Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them..
Have you ever wondered, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, WHY do we have deficits ?
Have you ever wondered, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, WHY do we have inflation and high taxes ?
You and I don't propose a federal budget. The President does.
You and I don't have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of Representatives does.
You and I don't write the tax code, Congress does.
You and I don't set fiscal policy, Congress does.
You and I don't control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve Bank does.
One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one President, and nine Supreme Court justices equates to 545 human beings out of the 300 million are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.
I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered, but private, central bank.
I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason. They have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman, or a President to do one cotton-picking thing. I don't care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash. The politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator's responsibility to determine how he votes.
Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common con regardless of party.
What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall. No normal human being would have the gall of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating deficits..... The President can only propose a budget. He cannot force the Congress to accept it.
The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes. Who is the speaker of the House? Nancy Pelosi. She is the leader of the majority party. She and fellow House members, not the President, can approve any budget they want. If the President vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to.
It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million cannot replace 545 people who stand convicted -- by present facts -- of incompetence and irresponsibility. I can't think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to those 545 people. When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist.
If the tax code is unfair, it's because they want it unfair.
If the budget is in the red, it's because they want it in the red ..
If the Army & Marines are in Iraq and Afghanistan it's because they want them in Iraq and Afghanistan...
If they do not receive social security but are on an elite retirement plan not available to the people, it's because they want it that way.
There are no insoluble government problems.
Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take this power. Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied mystical forces like "the economy," "inflation," or "politics" that prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do.
Those 545 people, and they alone, are responsible.
They, and they alone, have the power..
They, and they alone, should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses.
Provided the voters have the gumption to manage their own employees...
We should vote all of them out of office and clean up their mess!
Charlie Reese is a former columnist of the Orlando Sentinel Newspaper.
What you do with this article now that you have read it......... Is up to you.
This might be funny if it weren't so true.
Be sure to read all the way to the end:

YouTube - Union Teachers Explain How to Push Marxism in the Classroom

Its time to get control of our schools

"
Lenin once said that they "will sell us the rope with which to hang them" He called them " the useful idiots." I guess the communist teachers are the new "useful idiots."
Sara Knopp is in the tax the rich shirt, she's a Los Angeles teachers union leader.
Megan Behrent is a New York City teacher affiliated with the International Socialist Organization.
They both admit that as a teacher they should Promote the ideas of Marxism.  That the radicals and socialists need to push for that type of education.
Wow!! I hope parents out there are paying attention to this. This is criminal. You better be checking out your kids curriculum.
Its time to break up these communist teacher unions so we can get rid of  rotten teachers like these. Let them go to Cuba or North Korea and teach that garbage if they want.

How the Ice in Your Drink is Imperiling the Planet

GLOBAL WARMING / CLIMATE CHANGE IS A HOAXImage by genetew via Flickr

You have got to be kidding me. Leave it to that old tired rag Time Magazine to get it wrong again. According to this article  http://ecocentric.blogs.time.com/2011/04/14/how-the-ice-in-your-drink-is-imperiling-the-planet/#ixzz1K7MdeGra
households are a larger contributer to global warming than car emissions. The main offender? Your refrigerator/ freezer and that evil automatic ice maker.  So the  National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) recently decided to give them a closer look—and they got a surprise when they did. They say that these evil ice makers increase energy use by 12% to 20%. So now they are going to add 84 kilowatt hours to all the refrigerators with these automatic ice makers ratings. So now you will get to pay more for this frig. Its just another hidden tax perpetrated by another hidden unconstitutional government organization. I wonder if these so called experts at the NIST bothered to figure out that by not having the automatic ice makers, they may even use more energy. First you have to open the freezer door and let all that heat in. Then your filling up ice trays with tap water. Both of which will cause the freezer to work harder. Of course these global warming mental midgets have never let facts get in the way of their agenda before. So why would they now?   Folks these people just aren't normal. Even Charles Manson came out recently and spewed garbage about global warming. He's the fitting poster child for these nut jobs. You can read more about Chuckles global warming rantings here. Hopefully soon he will have a bunch of global warming lunatics as cell mates. These people are like a weird religious cult.

Arizona Prospering After SB 1070 - Rachel Alexander - Townhall Conservative: "Arizona’s tough anti-illegal immigration law SB 1070 was enacted into law on June 29 of last year. The Obama administration immediately sued Arizona and got an injunction preventing it from going into effect while the case was litigated. ATF wants to ban your shotguns

Imagine that. The constitution once again under attack by our government. Wake up America!

According to an article I just read at The blaze.com  http://www.theblaze.com/stories/could-your-shotgun-soon-be-outlawed/
The Bill of Rights, the first ten amendments t...Image via Wikipedia
I see that our Marxist n Chief wants to violate the 2nd amendment constitutional rights by using the ATF.  Now anyone who has read the constitution and what our founders have said about it know full well what it means. Now these Marxists are trying to ban certain guns under the pretense that they serve no sporting use. Anyone with an IQ equal too or greater than their shoe size know that guns for "sport" were not the reason for the second amendment.

The simple facts

  • The second amendment guarantees the right of the people to keep and bear arms without interference by the federal government. The founders believed it was an unalienable right to protect your life, liberty, and property.
  • The founding fathers knew from history that when a government wanted to take away the peoples liberty and property they always tried to disarm them first.
  • Under Title 10, section 31 of the US. Code, the militia of each state includes, "all able-bodied males at least 17 years of age and under 45 years of age who are or have (made) a declaration of intent to become citizens."
  • S Adams:  "The said constitution shall never be construed to authorize congress to ... prevent the people of the United States who are peaceable citizens from keeping their own arms."
  • Henry: " The great object is that every man be armed...  Everyone who is able may have a gun."
If you just remember one thing let it be this. This administration has done more damage to our constitution and our rights in just a little over 2 years than the last 25 combined. What do you think will happen if we don't remove this despotic regime in 2012? We desperately need someone with uncompromising integrity to take over for this, the worst administration of the century.

More government unconstitutional intrusion

Here we go again, more big brother nanny state rules and regulations being forced on the people. I’m reading in the Arizona Republic todayhttp://www.azcentral.com/news/articles/2011/04/17/20110417federal-menu-labeling-standard-restaurants-obesity.html#ixzz1JqLqClHv
about this unconstitutional new law that states chain restaurants will be forced to disclose the fat, sodium, and calories for all their meals. First of all this is not the federal governments job to be doing. Maybe the states can do something like this but certainly not the federal government.

Then I read the really unconstitutional thing. The FDA is going to be writing the requirements. Now I’m looking at article 1 section 1 paragraph 1 of the constitution and I don’t see anywhere in there that the FDA has any authority at all to be making law. It basically states that ALL lawmaking power is in the CONGRESS.  The FDA is once again violating our most basic rights of representation. We don’t get to vote for the FDA so they are completely unaccountable to us.

Then as I read further I find out that this was snuck in through the unconstitutional health care bill. Nothing about this is legal. These government mental midgets can’t even make it past the very first article of the constitution before they violate it. I just hope the people of Iowa confront their Sen. Tom Harkin for hiding this in the 3,000 page healthcare bill and hold him accountable for hiding an unconstitutional law within a unconstitutional law. He truly is not fit to serve in the senate. He violated his oath to uphold the constitution twice in one bill. I wonder how many other times he’s done something like this.

Congressman that are not lazy spineless jellyfish could stop this with using article 1 section 9 paragraph 7. Just don't appropriate the money for the FDA to write the rules and regulations or enforce them. Starve the FDA to death. Force them to stop regulating businesses out of business.

Just sayn..............

Tax and spend is clearly not the answer Mr. President

According to an article at  http://www.heritage.org/Research/Factsheets/2011/04/TAXES-ARE-NOT-TOO-LOW-Its-the-Spending-Stupid
the government took in about $2.2 trillion in 2010. Then went ahead and spent $3.5 trillion. Now it doesn't take a math major to figure out that they are spending more than they take in. It also doesn't take a brain-surgeon to figure out that you can't raise taxes enough to make up the $1.3 trillion deficit.

The answers to this and most problems is right in front of our faces. The Constitution. We must educate ourselves and our children about that great document. Our government run indoctrination centers ( Public schools) won't do it.
A great place to start is by getting a hold of 2 books. First, The 5,000 year leap. This is a great history of how and why our founders came to the choices that they did. Its a easy read and makes it much easier to understand the Constitution. It also explains the 28 fundamental principles that make good constitutional law. This by itself is a great teaching tool. You will be able to download a candidates or congressman's ideas and proposals and then have your kids apply the 28 fundamental principles to that. If a proposal violates those principles then you must vote no.

Next, The Making Of America. The first half of the book is a brief history of some of the founders and explains just where they were coming from. Where they got some of their ideas and why. Its an amazing piece of writing. Then you come to the second half of the book. This is the heart of the book. It takes you through the constitution line by line and explains it in easy to understand language. It also has most of the explanations in the founders own writings. No spin just the simple truth.
As far as I'm concerned these 2 books should be required reading for every student. Also people like me who didn't hear this stuff when I was in school. It's sad that we missed out on this fantastic learning.

Taxes Are Not Too Low: It’s the Spending, Stupid | The Heritage Foundation: "Tax Hikes Can’t Fix the Deficit
Current Taxation: In 2010, the federal government collected roughly $2.2 trillion in total tax revenue. Income taxes accounted for $900 billion of collections, or about 40% of all tax receipts. The federal government spent around $3.5 trillion; the resulting deficit of $1.3 trillion was made possible by borrowing."

Many taxpayers will be dismayed to see how high their total tax tabs are, but deficit spending is badly obscuring this crucial calculation by hiding the deficit surcharge—i.e., the future cost of today’s overspending."

Obama’s Radical Climate Change Agenda Driving U.S. Foreign Aid Policy | The Heritage Foundation
President Obama and his congressional allies’ domestic climate change agenda—“cap and trade”—failed in the last Congress due to extensive opposition to its costly regulations and barriers to growth. Having failed to enact draconian climate change legislation domestically, however, President Obama has quietly shifted some of these efforts overseas by funneling millions of U.S. foreign aid dollars to left-wing causes in poor countries, whose populations largely live on less than $1 a day.

The reason why we keep electing unqualified people for President

Introduction: The following material is drawn mostly from the work of Gary and Carolyn Alder in their 54-page work entitled The Evolution and Destruction of the Original Electoral College . We use it here with their permission. Once again, it shows how the Founders original formula would solve many problems today. - Earl Taylor, Jr.

Elections in America - Battle of the Parties!

Now that the battle of the parties in the election of 2010 is over, the winners will be savoring their victory and the losers will be plotting a comeback for the next contest. The recent election was all about strengthening the President's agenda or opposing it. The big political war, the election of 2012, will be starting soon, to determine who will be the next "King of the People". Let us pause from the tumult long enough to contrast our current methods and madness of electing a president with the Framers formula of choosing the leaders of our nation.

The Framers designed a Formula for Freedom -The United States Constitution

The Formula for Freedom is found in the structure of the U.S. Constitution, including:
  • Limited, delegated powers. (Enumeration)
  • Vertical distribution of powers. (Federalism)
  • Horizontal separation of powers. (Separation)
  • Checks. (Bridle usurpation)
  • Balances. (Representation of all interests)
  • Secured rights. (Individual sovereignty)
Each branch of the federal government (the House of Representatives, the Senate, the President and the Supreme Court) was to be selected by a different method, a different set of people, for a different length of time, to represent different interests. Each branch was assigned specific enumerated powers.
The federal government was not to be a consolidated national government as we often think of it today. The Framers wisely designed the United States of America to be a complex (or compound) constitutional representative republic, not a democracy!
Under the Articles of Confederation, Congress represented only the state governments. The Constitution added a new innovation-a bi-cameral Congress with one chamber representing the people (being elected directly by the people), and the other representing the state governments (being chosen by the state legislatures). The Constitution allowed only the House of Representatives to be elected directly by the people.

Why would the Framers restrict the people to elect only one Federal position?

Some might think that the Framers were being mean or distrustful not to let everyone vote for Senators or the President. Today we think that we have a "right" to vote for them. The Founders studied very carefully many forms of ancient and contemporary governments. They knew that democracies were short lived and soon became "mobocracies." It was not a government that would function well for a large body of people as they expected the United States would become. The Framers designed a system for freedom to last for many generations. They knew that different interests had to be represented and protected and that a "balance" can only be achieved when the different branches are elected by those who represent those different interests. These separate branches can then "check" each other from usurping undelegated powers.

Direct vs. Indirect Elections

Direct election is popular vote by the whole electorate (all voters) as in a democracy. As individuals we vote for our own interests. Indirect election by delegates chosen by the people, forms a representative republic. They are trustees of the people to do the work of maintaining freedom and protecting the rights of the people. Each state legislature has been elected by the people of that state as part of the state government. The Constitution authorized the state legislatures to choose two Senators to represent their state government in the Senate, (prior to the ratification of the 17 th Amendment). The Framers designed a method of election using a completely separate set of delegates to participate in each phase of the election for selecting a president and vice-president for the United States.

A Unique Method of Choosing a President

The Framers intelligently designed a unique Electoral College system to select the best possible presidents. As the intent of the Constitution was ignored and the Constitution was inappropriately amended, the Electoral College became nothing more than a rubber stamp for political parties and for a popular vote for president. Dr. W. Cleon Skousen in his book The Majesty of God's Law describes the early destruction of the Electoral College as political parties gained political power, in these words:
The whole concept of the Electoral College lost its meaning when the political party system began to evolve around 1800. It not only shattered the Founders' original plan to get our best leaders into top position but it destroyed any inclination to go back to the original Electoral College system.
Our purpose is to help people discover and explore the ingenious system that the Framers designed. In our booklet The Evolution and Destruction of the Original Electoral College we describe in detail the original system, its evolution, and destruction. Here we will briefly describe the highlights.

The Electors are only to Nominate

The secret to understanding the original system is that the Electors were to nominate presidential candidates-not elect the president. Imagine a system where wise individuals are seeking qualified people of integrity to nominate for president, where there is no personal aggrandizing, no campaigning, and no campaign financing. The Electors were to nominate outstanding statesmen who had proven themselves through service and dedication to their country-not promises of what they would do, but evidences of what they had done.

The Phases of an Election Process

There are three phases of any election process. They can be described as:
  1. Nomination-the possibilities
  2. Candidate Selection-the probabilities
  3. Final Vote-the ultimate selection-the pick
To select the president and vice-president of the United States, the Framers chose indirect election by separate sets of delegates in each of these phases.

Phase 1 - Nomination

Each state was to select a number of Electors equal to the total Representatives and Senators allocated to that state. The Electors were not to be elected officials or employees of the government. Each Elector was to submit two names. This would be done at the same time in each state capital, not in a national convention. One of the most effective means of preventing the Electors from campaigning for a particular individual was for each of them to nominate two individuals. An Elector would have no way of knowing if either would be a candidate to be voted on later by a separate body of men. Designating which of his nominees was to be only a vice-presidential choice was not an Elector's prerogative. There were to be no candidates running for office. The Framers felt that the office should seek for the man not the man for the office.
After the Electors completed their task of nomination, the results from their state were tallied and that list was sent to the seat of government. The job assigned to the Electors was over. Their term of office (one meeting) was complete and they returned to private life. Weeks later, those results would be used in Phase 2.

Phase 2 - Candidate Selection

Candidate selection was accomplished by counting the nominations. At the designated time, the sealed nomination results from each state would be opened in the presence of the Senate and House of Representatives as witnesses. The counting of the electoral votes (nominations) determined the field of candidates to be forwarded to the House of Representatives for their final selection. In a system free from the intrigue and cabal of political parties, it seems rather intuitive that the House would almost always choose the president from a field of five candidates produced by counting the nominations.

The Shortcut

If a majority of the Electors nominated a particular individual, he would become President, bypassing the deciding vote of the House of Representatives. A plurality of electoral votes was not sufficient to bypass the election process by the House; nomination by a majority of the Electors was required. Unless one individual is obviously more qualified than anyone else, the Electoral College system will produce many nominations.
Let us describe it another way. If the individual with the highest number of nominating votes was nominated by over half of the Electors-in a situation where the Electors would not know the outcome from other states, no final election is needed. As was the unique case with George Washington, it was obvious who should be president.

Phase 3 - Final Vote

The House of Representatives would choose the president from among up to five individuals who received the highest number of nominations by the Electors with each state casting one vote. The final election retained the principle of federalism by allowing each state one vote regardless of population. This demonstrates that the office of president is not to be confused with a king of the people, but is president of the Union of States. A majority of the states must concur in order to elect the president. Deliberation continued and additional ballots were taken until a decision was reached. After the president was selected, the vice-president was the remaining candidate with the highest number of electoral votes.

Dismantling the Founders' Electoral Process

With the passage of the 12 th Amendment, political parties gained a foothold in the electoral process by expanding the role of electors from merely nominating to actually choosing the president and over time, political parties have completely usurped the choosing of electors. Parties now dictate to their chosen electors who they will vote for, thereby eliminating the independent nominating duty of presidential electors. The original concept of the Electoral College is totally different from what we have seen since the political parties took over the nomination and election processes.
Understanding the Founders' wisdom in choosing a president is a vital step in restoring the Constitution.
There is still a lot of teaching to be done!
Sincerely,
Earl Taylor, Jr.

The Responsibility Of Citizens

The Responsibility Of Citizens: "The Framers' first assumption was that all just authority for government comes from the people, under God; not from a monarch or a governing class, but from the innumerable citizens who make up the public. The people delegate to government only so much power as they think it prudent for government to exercise. Government is the people's creation, not their master. Thus, if the people are sovereign, it is the citizens' responsibility to take upon their shoulders the task of seeing that order, justice, and freedom are maintained."

Will a UCLA Prof Lose His Job For Sticking to Science Over Politics? | The Blaze: "Twelve members of California‘s state legislature caught wind of Enstrom’s story and have come to his defense as well. The twelve legislators may “promptly hold a hearing in Sacramento on this matter,“ arguing that ”the integrity of the University of California requires that faculty have the freedom to publish research findings, without fear of potential retribution from those in higher positions.”"

Our Founding Fathers understood history and the Laws of nature

Our founders were not geniuses. They just understood history and the laws of nature and natures god. These two facts of life were the basis reasons for their new worlds success. They must be looking down upon us and wondering just how we fell so far from those most basic principles.

They understood the lessens of Jamestown. By Christmas of 1607 in that first American colony more than 65% of the people were dead. The next year more people came and half of them died. They were literally starved to death. The people were so desperate that they had to eat their cows, horses, and even their dogs. Some even boiled the leather from their shoes to chew on. Its been estimated that of the first 9,000 people who came to the new world only 1,000 survived.

There were two main reasons. One, we as humans really hadn’t made many advances in the last 5,000 years. Their main mode of transportation was animal power and by foot. Even their boats weren’t much different than those of the past 5,000 years. Even the tools they had were ancient. Shovel, a stick plow pulled by ox. Their  clothes were still made from scratch. First handspun then hand sewn.

The second reason? Well to put it simply, communalism.  Zero competition. No private property.  Everybody was allowed to take from the general store what they needed and contribute what they harvested. Sounds good right? Everyone worked for the common good of the colony. In theory everyone would contribute enough to supply the colony with what they needed to live. Cooperation, pure cooperation. No competition no personal responsibility. You were to work in perfect harmony with all your neighbors and all would share equally in the rewards. Socialism at its best.  Just one thing though. It has never worked and it never will. The founders new this from history and now had even more evidence to go by.

Then in 1614 they finally smartened up. They divided up the land and embraced private property and personal reasonability. Liberty. It was just amazing what a little freedom can do. Each family only had to contribute 2 barrels of corn to the general store. The rest was their own property. To use as you wish. The change was nothing short of a miracle. The very same people who had become lazy slobs under socialism were now working harder than ever. That fall the general store was full and the people were too. They had fantastic results.   Freedom, liberty and yes capitalism had saved Jamestown. The people were happy. Happy with their new found liberty to own their own land and reap the fruits of their labor. They instantly became industrious. Free enterprise was born.

Natures law and natures God. It is truth. Common sense. It is permanent and inalienable. The very foundation which our constitution was built upon. Our founders studied the past and learned the lessens well.  In 200 years after the constitution was signed the United States of America made giants leaps in industries and politics and invention.  She accomplished more in those 200 years than the whole world did in the previous 5,000 years. Freedom and capitalism unleashed the human mind and industry.

Its now time we begin to restore those basic truths that the founding fathers wrote about. We have slipped backwards towards socialism. It started long ago but the last 75 or 80 years we have done great damage to the constitution. We have ignored the basic most fundamental truths of the world. Natures law and natures God. Liberty and individualism.
There are two main types of law in the world. Rulers law and peoples law. We seem to be flirting with rulers law now. Not a very smart way to go.

Thomas Jefferson was a giant among men. He spent years and years studying law, history, politics, religion and so on. Jefferson’s years of study impressed a stranger to him so much he wrote:

“When he spoke of law, I thought he was a lawyer; when he talked
about mechanics, I was sure he was an engineer; when he got into
medicine, it was evident that he was a physician; when he discussed
theology, I was convinced he must be a clergyman; when he talked of
literature, I made up my mind that I had run against a college
professor who knew everything.”(William E. Curtis, The True Thomas
Jefferson, Philadelphia: J. B. Lippincott Company, 1901, pp. 358-59.)

We need to restore our understanding of the constitution. Take advantage of the vast knowledge and wisdom the founders left for us. Not turn our backs on it. Not move away from the truths they wrote about. We must reeducate ourselves of our history and our founders.

Just sayin……..
“Power always thinks… that it is doing God’s service when it is violating all his laws.”

U.S. to have Highest Corporate Tax Rate in the World | The Foundry: Conservative Policy News.: "Japan will soon fall from the top spot because it has finally recognized what the rest of the industrialized world realized over a decade ago: A low corporate income tax rate is vital for economic growth in the global marketplace. As such, Japan just announced it will reduce its corporate income tax rate by 5 percentage points down to around 35 percent. This remains far above the 25 percent average rate of other industrialized countries, but for them it is a start."

High Corporate Income Tax Rate Driving Jobs Overseas | The Foundry: Conservative Policy News.: "The United States has the second highest corporate tax rate of any of the 30 countries in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) – a collection of the most economically developed countries in the world. The federal rate is 35 percent. Add on the average state corporate income tax and United States businesses pay a top rate over 39 percent. This is just below Japan which has a rate slightly over 39.5 percent."

Morning Bell: Stop Sending Jobs Overseas | The Foundry: Conservative Policy News.: "The United States was once a leader in tax rate reduction. In 1981, President Ronald Reagan passed a broad tax cut package to encourage economic growth. How well did it work? Just compare the drops in unemployment from both the Reagan and the Obama economic recoveries. Since the Obama recovery began 21 months ago, the national unemployment rate has fallen only 0.6 points, from 9.4 percent in July 2009 to 8.8 percent today. Contrast those anemic results with the robust job growth that occurred during the Reagan recovery in the ’80s. By the 21-month mark of the Reagan recovery, unemployment had dropped from 10.8 percent to 7.5 percent—a 3.3 point drop."

Someone to blame for 25 straight months of double digit unemployment in his home state of Nevada; someone to blame for Las Vegas schools that rank 51st in the nation if you count D.C."
