’m not exactly sure how the dots connect here, but MSNBC‘s Chris Matthews says President Obama’s Hawaiian residency was “the first thing” he thought of.
NBC White House correspondent Chuck Todd connects the dots, suggesting how there are lots of Japanese immigrants in Hawaii. “That’s an interesting theory,” Todd tells Matthews.
“It’s pathetic he has to do that,” Matthews responds.
