Millionaires tax rising from the dead--Editorial - NYPOST.com

New York's so-called millionaires tax, set to expire at the end of the year, is threatening once again to rise from the dead.

And then, perhaps, suck the very lifeblood out of New York's economy.

Gov. Cuomo needs to get his ducks in order fast -- and block any such resurrection.

* Alarm No. 1: An upstate GOP senator last week broke ranks with his fellow Republicans to say he'll support an extension of the tax -- which affects couples that earn $250,000 or more -- if it's changed so as to apply only to seven-figure incomes.

Make it a real millionaires tax, in other words.
