Somebody is poisoning Harry Reid’s cafeteria food. How else do you explain the Democrat Leader’s position that taxpayers should be funding a “cowboy poetry festival” in Nevada each January?
Just hours ago, Reid took to the Senate floor to label the spending cuts that the House Republicans have proposed as “mean-spirited” because they would eliminate federal subsidies for the National Endowment of the Arts, National Endowment for Humanities, and National Public Broadcasting.
And, according to Reid, if the government doesn’t fund the National Endowment for Humanities, then what will ever come of his state’s “cowboy poetry festival?” The nerve of those Republicans!
